Attended an Expo here today. Easy disability access via long shallow ramp. With the long fenced concrete ramp and large flat area at the top of the stairs, probably one of the best wheelchair access in Mackay. Great facility all around with bathrooms & Cafe all good. Bit of a bump just as you enter the main doors that is a little tricky to get over in a self powered wheelchair.
Great place to play basketball. Currently being refurbished. Had a great time watching the grandchildren play in the local comp. Coffee and food available.
The atmosphere alone, is always an incredible experience. Home games are run to a very high standard, well done Mackay Basketball!
Hand-made markets are great if you're looking for baby/toddler/kids clothing and accessories; Kitchen towels; Scented candles; Hair adornments; Wooden toys; ... Lots for Christmas stockings.
